How the estimate is worked out. Local trips run on our meter: $2.50 when the meter starts, then $0.30 per eighth of a mile, which comes to $2.40 a mile. Additional passengers are $2.00 each and waiting time, if you ask the driver to wait, is $21.00 an hour. No trip is charged below the $10.00 minimum fare.
Airport runs are a flat rate instead of the meter. Conyers to Hartsfield-Jackson is $65.00 one way in a sedan, and Covington to ATL is $85.00. That price is agreed before you travel and does not move with traffic, the time of day or demand.
What happens after you check a trip. Nothing is booked and nothing is charged.
