Yes. We drive veterans from Conyers, Covington and the surrounding counties to VA appointments, including the Cleland Atlanta VA Medical Center on Clairmont Road in Decatur, and the driver can wait through the appointment (first 5 minutes free, then $0.35 a minute, up to an hour) or come back for the trip home. It is a private taxi service: we are not a VA contracted provider and we do not bill the VA, and the VA has its own travel programs worth asking your patient advocate about. A 2014 Honda Civic LX sedan, clean and licensed, with the Price Guard Rideshare name on it. It seats up to four passengers and takes two large cases and a carry on, or four smaller bags. If you are travelling with more than that, say so when you book and we will tell you straight away whether it fits.

The car is committed to your time rather than found on the day, the fare is agreed when you book, and booking at least 24 hours ahead takes 10% off the trip fare.

Yes. Card payments are taken in the car, contactless, tapped on the driver's phone, so Apple Pay and Google Pay work as well. Cash is fine too. Payment is at the end of the ride, never when you book.

No. Price Guard Rideshare has no night surcharge, no holiday loading and no surge pricing. A Conyers airport run is $65.00 flat whether it leaves at 4am on a holiday weekend or 2pm on a Tuesday.

Per ride. The meter fare covers the vehicle, so four people traveling together pay one fare plus $2.00 for each passenger after the first. The flat airport rates of $65.00 from Conyers and $85.00 from Covington are for the sedan, not per head.

Yes. Tell us when you book and the extra stop is priced into the quote. Adding a stop during the ride is fine too, and the driver will agree the change with you before setting off again rather than surprising you at the end.

Nothing changes. Once a fare is agreed, traffic, roadworks and a slow run through the connector are our problem, not an increase to your bill. Only waiting time you ask for is charged, and even then the first 5 minutes are free and the rest is $0.35 a minute. We do not wait longer than an hour.

If the time you want is gone we will offer the nearest hour that is free, and for an airport run we will say it the moment you ask rather than the night before you fly. We do not hand your trip to another company without telling you: if you book Price Guard, Cedric drives you.

No. Call before the pickup window and we will move or cancel the ride at no charge. Plans change, and we would rather re-book you than bill you for a car you did not take.

The vehicle, the driver and the journey you booked. Tolls and any airport fees are included in the flat airport rates. What is never added afterwards: surge pricing, night or holiday loading, or a bigger bill because the traffic was bad.

You pay at the end of the ride. We take contactless card payments in the car, tapped on the driver's phone, which means Apple Pay and Google Pay work too, and we take cash. Nothing is charged when you book on the website: the form reserves the ride, it does not take payment. The price agreed before you travel is the price you pay.

Yes, by advance reservation. Book the pickup before you fly, or while you are still in the air, and give us the flight number so we can track the arrival. We do not take walk-up requests at the terminal.
