Local rides are short trips within and between the towns we serve, arranged by phone or online, with the fare agreed before the journey starts.
Most of what we drive is not dramatic. It is the school run when a car will not start, the trip to an appointment, the grocery run, the ride home from a repair shop, the evening out where nobody wants to be the designated driver. Short trips, priced honestly.
Work and commuting
Getting to a shift, a site or a park and ride, booked in advance so the car is arranged before the morning.
Appointments
Doctors, dentists, clinics and hospital visits. We are a taxi service rather than a medical transport company: the driver helps you to the door, can wait up to an hour if you arrange it when booking, and takes you home again. The first 5 minutes of waiting are free, then it is $0.35 a minute, and for a longer appointment he comes back instead.
Evenings and weekends
Dinner, a game, a family gathering. Book the ride home at the same time as the ride out and the car is already arranged when the evening finishes.
Trips between towns
Conyers to Covington, Lithonia to Stonecrest, or out to Snellville, Loganville, Oxford, Porterdale and Social Circle. Short intertown hops are normal work for us.

How short a trip will you take?
There is no minimum journey. Short local trips are a large part of what we drive, and they are priced the same honest way as a long one.
Can the driver wait while I run in?
Yes, if you arrange it when you book. Waiting is quoted with the trip rather than added to the end of it.
Can I book a ride home at the same time?
Yes, and it is worth doing on evenings and weekends. Book both legs together and the return is already arranged.
