A meter charges you for traffic you did not cause. We agree the price before the trip, so a jammed connector or a closed ramp is our problem, not a bigger bill for you.

This is an agreed flat rate for the airport run, not a meter reading, so traffic does not change it.
Our meter, for reference, is $2.50 base plus $2.40 a mile. Additional passengers are $2.00 each and waiting time is $21.00 an hour if you ask us to wait, with a $10.00 minimum fare.
